HOTEL TECHNOLOGY SUPPORT
Edward "Ed" Kopp began his Hospitality Career serving as the Information Systems Manager for Windmill Inns of America, Inc. in 1998. This independent hotel chain included 3 properties in Oregon, 3 properties in Arizona as well as their home office (also located in Arizona.) Ed provided full Information Technology Support for all of these locations.
He has presented and served on round-table discussions at The Lodging Conference during this period. He provided IT Support for Lodging Unlimited and Lodging Unlimited West.
From 2013 through the end of 2014 while working at Interstate Hotels and Resorts as Information Systems Manager, Ed provided full IT Project Management for the conversion of The Hyatt Place Phoenix/Chandler Fashion Center as well as The Homewood Suites by Hilton Tucson/St. Philip's Plaza from independent to their respective brands (complying with all IT related brand standards.)
In April of 2015 Ed completed the required course of study and testing and is a Certified PCI Professional (Certified by the PCI-SSC # 1002-346)
With the majority of his technical experience coming from the Hospitality Industry you can count on Ed's understanding of the industry specific technologies involved in operating Hotels, Resorts, Restaurants and Retail establishments.
